HS Seniors: Letters of Recommendations

Can you believe it? Your senior year has arrived! While there's bound to be excitement ahead, there are some key things you can be doing now to prepare for the college admission process. Visiting campuses, considering majors, and talking with your parents or guardians about paying for college are all very important steps.

It's also not too early to start identifying the mentors and teachers you'll ask to write letters of recommendation on your behalf. Keep in mind that many high schools have their own processes for requesting letters. For example, a school may ask you to put your request in writing or to submit an electronic form.
